The most direct access to the site would appear to be via Carisbrook Road. However, this road does not link onto Buitengracht and, hence, in its present configuration, cannot be utilized for immediate access.

 Discussions have been held with the City and Province with regard to a possible upgrading of Carisbrook Road, to link with Buitengracht, and this is shown below.

While this configuration requires a number of details to be confirmed, e.g. coach accessibility, the gradient and the adjacent property boundaries, the solution has been reviewed by the City and found not to be unworkable.
